MiniGLoG
A downloadable game
MiniGLOG is something I've been working on this last month. I wanted to distill an OSR game down to the barest components, make it as approachable as possible. And I think it works! Mostly inspired by the GLOG, as it says on the tin.
But of course a good ruleset also needs a GM guide, so I wrote MiniDELVE to accompany it, a one-page dungeon/monster/loot generator.
But then, if there are dungeons out there, there needs to be a wilderness to cross to get to them, and towns to defend, spend coin, and rule, of course. So I wrote a one page world generator called MiniREALM.
But then I realized that while MiniGLOG is completely playable, a few little things could add quite a lot of spice. So I added MiniTALES and MiniTACTICS, a page each of backgrounds and interesting combat abilities.
And now I have five pages of wildly condensed OSR.
I hope you find something of worth within.

A lovely distillation of ttrpg. I only have one concern, which is that there doesn’t seem to be any explanation of what a monster/npc’s level actually does mechanically, despite it being referenced in the magic table. Other than that, there’s a ton of useful tables in this that I can definitely use and the simplicity of things is truly impressive.

Very very nice condensed version of the GLOG, you’ve done a great job.
Although, as far as I can say, the original GLOG is published under a Creative Commons license CC-BY-NC-SA ; I think it’d be a great idea to add this license reference in the documents, so it could allow creators to make their own hacks, modules, etc. What do you think?
Whoops! This is what I intended anyway, I just don't typically think of the legal aspect of sharing free things. Thanks for pointing it out, and I will add it to the page!
btw, I’ve noticed that the PDFs don’t include the text, so they’re like full-images.
It’s readable and all, but do you think it’d be possible to publish a text version of the documents? That could open the way for hacks (and I’m thinking about translations, for example).

Do you have a page of monsters? Or a conversion guide?
Most OSR monsters should work straight out of the box. MiniDELVE has some basic rules for monsters. I usually use HD as bonus to hit and saves for simplicity's sake.
Also, I highly recommend the Monster Overhaul if you're looking for a good manual, or the Basic Fantasy Monster SRD for a free alternative.
