Onward!

Here's a small project I've been working on for a few days. It's core is a simple 2d6 oracle, similar to the one found in Maze Rat.

I taught Onward! to a small group of teenagers, and was amazed when I came back hours later to find them still playing!

It's certainly not for everyone, but it can be picked up in an instant.

The key with this type of game is thinking of the answers given by the oracle as "points of light". The fun part of playing is in connecting the dots, that is, asking "how" these points work together.
